Stirling Methodist Church would like to welcome our new minister
Revd Dr Mark Jason and his family.


BIOGRAPHY
Mark began his ministry in Chennai , South India. After his ordination, he served the Church of South India in rural parishes around Chennai. He then moved to Scotland where he completed a PhD in Biblical Studies from the University of Aberdeen (2007). While there, he also served as assistant Rector of St. James Episcopal Church, Aberdeen. After his doctoral studies, he was sent by the Methodist Church in Britain to serve as a Mission Partner in The Gambia, West Africa (2007-2011). In The Gambia, he was the Coordinator for Theological Education and Ministerial Formation for the Gambian Methodist Church, as well as the Superintendent Minister of Wesley Circuit, Banjul. On his return to the UK, he was appointed as Minister of Stirling Methodist Church, Queen Street. Mark is married to Sarah and they have two sons, Abishek (11) and Paul (3).
